Digital Marketing Intern

Harbor Marketing Agency is a rapidly growing remote digital marketing agency that takes eCommerce startups and scales them into successful multimillion dollar brands.

We are currently seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our agency’s production team. Harbor Marketing Agency works with a variety of clients and we are searching for an energetic, creative, and collaborative person to join us as a Digital Marketing Intern. This position requires a go-getter attitude, attention to detail and creative thinking around content creation.

The Digital Marketing Intern is an entry-level position and should expect to be engaged on an average of 30 hours/week for the duration of the internship. This is a paid internship and compensation will be discussed during the interview process. There is the opportunity for this internship to roll into a part-time or a full-time position within the company at the conclusion of the internship.

No experience is needed for this role, but a passion for advertising and marketing is required. The Digital Marketing Intern will receive training and ongoing mentorship throughout the duration of the internship to ensure they are successful in their role. The Digital Marketing Intern will report directly to the Founder of Harbor Marketing Agency.

Digital Marketing Intern Description

• Build and manage client Facebook and Instagram Ads Manager accounts
• Ad, landing page, and email copywriting for clients
• Blog writing for Harbor Marketing Agency
• Work with external design team to coordinate graphic design projects
• Communicate with Account Manager to ensure deadlines are met
• Technical support as needed
• Work with team to improve internal processes

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Self-starter, motivated, and able to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Experience in basic design platforms (i.e. Canva) is a plus.
• Experience in the subscription box industry is a plus.
• Facebook Ads Experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
• E-Commerce experience is a plus.
• Experience with WordPress, Squarespace, ClickFunnels, and other web building platforms is a plus.
• Experience with MailChimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, and other ESPs is a plus.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.

Job Type:

Internship with the possibility to transition to full-time (30 - 40 hours per week)
